Frontpro chewable tablets against ticks and fleas for dogs (2-4 kg) For the treatment of flea infestations in dogs. After a single administration, the killing effect on fleas occurs immediately and lasts for 5 weeks. For the treatment of tick infestations in dogs. After a single administration, the killing effect on ticks occurs immediately and lasts for 1 month. Fleas and ticks must attach to the host and start feeding in order to be exposed to the active substance. Dosage and administration: Give. The tablets are chewable, have a beef aroma and are palatable (pleasant taste) to most dogs. The veterinary medicinal product can be given with food or separately: if the dog does not eat the tablets directly, they can be given with the food. In order to ensure the correct dosage of the medicine, the animal's body weight should be determined as accurately as possible. Using a dose that is too low may result in ineffective treatment and may contribute to the development of resistance. For optimal control of flea and tick infestations, the product should be administered monthly throughout the flea and/or tick season. Contraindications: Do not use in cases of hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients. Special warnings: It should be taken into account that other animals living in the same household may be a source of re-infestation with fleas and/or ticks and should therefore be treated with appropriate medication as necessary. Fleas of all stages may be present in the dog's bedding and usual resting areas, such as carpets or upholstered furniture. In cases of heavy infestation and at the beginning of control measures, these areas and objects should be treated with appropriate insecticides and vacuumed regularly. In the absence of data, use in puppies under 8 weeks of age and/or dogs weighing less than 2 kg should only be considered after a benefit-risk assessment by a veterinarian.
